Job summary

Contechs is hiring a UX Copywriter for In-Vehicle Digital Interfaces to shape the voice and clarity of in-vehicle digital experiences. You'll create user-centered content for infotainment, notifications, and settings, ensuring brand compliance and safety. This role involves collaboration with designers and engineers, requiring excellent writing skills, UX knowledge, and experience in digital interfaces. Located in Gaydon with a hybrid work model, the position requires eligibility to work in the UK and travel in the EU.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in UX writing or product writing for digital interfaces.
• Ability to advocate for content design.
• Experience working within design teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine text on in-vehicle digital interfaces.
• Produce user-centered copy including labels and error messages.
• Define warning messaging principles and standards.
• Contribute to design reviews and user testing.

Skills

Expert command of the English language

UX writing experience

Exceptional writing and editing skills

Familiar with Figma, Jira, Confluence

Understanding of UX/UI principles

Management of multiple stakeholders

Experience in automotive or consumer electronics

Familiarity with i18n and l10n best practices

Knowledge of HMI standards

Contribution to user research
