Overview

We’re looking for a UX Content Writer to join a cutting-edge team working on innovative digital products. In this role, you’ll craft clear, concise, and user-centred content that enhances the overall user experience across websites, apps, and digital platforms.

Your work will help users navigate interfaces with ease, aligning seamlessly with the brand’s tone of voice while supporting intuitive design. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product teams to ensure content is integrated smoothly and effectively within the user journey.

The ideal candidate is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and experienced in writing content that’s not just informative, but also accessible, engaging, and optimised for usability.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, research, and create content for medium-sized projects or parts of larger projects with little supervision
  • Work independently to deliver high-quality work on time, meeting user needs
  • Manage your own priorities and make progress with minimal guidance
  • Develop content plans for medium-sized projects or contribute to plans for larger projects
  • Identify and solve problems with project requirements or how tasks fit into larger goals
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with different teams (like engineering, project management, and other writers)
  • Help improve document flow and readability, and negotiate solutions to project challenges
  • Define timelines and tasks for your assigned project components
  • Address any conflicts that may arise to prevent issues within the team

Expertise:

  • Understand the technical details of products or projects to anticipate user questions and needs
  • Have knowledge of content creation tools and processes to create quality content for various products or programs
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a teacher, professor, or educator in a K-12 or higher education setting, with a focus on STEM subjects
