Qualifications

Recent flexographic or digital printing experience.
Experience & competency on a combination press is essential.
Reel-to-reel experience preferred.
UV Inkjet experience is a plus.
Experience in beverage, emboss, deboss, foil hot/cold printing is advantageous.

Run multi-colour UV flexo and/or digital presses.
Produce high-quality labels with finishes.
Keep area and machinery clean and tidy.
Troubleshoot printing press or print quality issues.
Produce work as per production/planning schedule.

Role

Producing high-quality printed output to agreed schedules, while maintaining strict standards around quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Running multi-colour UV flexo and/or digital presses
Producing high quality labels with a variety of finishes
Ensuring that the area, equipment, and machinery are kept clean and tidy
Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
Produce the allocation of work detailed in the production/planning schedule
Deliver assigned work on time & in line with quality standards
Aim to achieve speed of production and productivity levels (estimated times)
Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are always adhered to by you
Carry out basic maintenance in accordance with standard procedures

Requirements

Hold sufficient, recent flexographic / digital printing / experience
Experience & competency is essential on a combination press
Reel to reel experience
Will also consider UV Inkjet experience
Experience in any the following print processes: beverage, emboss, deboss, foil hot/cold
Ability to use own initiative & problem solve on a daily basis
Have experience operating a flexo print
Be aware of flexo and/or digital print process
Previously or currently printed labels / packaging
