Job summary

Survey Solutions is seeking an Assistant Utility Survey Manager in Colchester to support the Regional Operations Manager in running the regional office and surveying operations.

You will assist with managing survey projects, ensuring quality control and supervising field staff across large engagements, including data management, RAMS prep, audits, sub-contractor relations and client communications.

Qualifications

• Must have previously worked as a Senior Utility Surveyor with extensive experience leading surveying teams.
• Industry-recognized certifications as specified by the company.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager on complex projects from initiation to completion and lead planning, coordination and execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between field teams, data collectors, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee data collection processes and maintain operational integrity throughout project lifecycles.
• Lead and mentor field staff and data collection teams; provide coaching and development.
• Lead on health and safety, conduct toolbox talks, PPE audits and site compliance.
