Job description

Job Title: Utility Project Manager
Location: Aylesbury, UK
Contract Duration: Until the end of 2025
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Overall Purpose of the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Utility Project Manager to join our client on a contract basis, running until the end of 2025, based in Aylesbury. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering multiple utility diversion projects, ensuring that all are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of utility diversion projects, including water, gas, electricity, and communications assets.
  2. Completing all necessary documentation to facilitate contract commencement and project delivery.
  3. Managing the project team and ensuring effective collaboration to achieve project goals.
  4. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, particularly around health and safety.

Key Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in managing utility diversion projects, with a focus on water, gas, electric, and communications.
  2. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse project team effectively.
  3. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and how to implement them across projects.
  4. Able to complete documentation accurately and promptly, ensuring projects run smoothly from contract to site.
