Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Utility Ground Worker to join our team in the Thames Valley area.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the groundworks/reinstatement of SSE excavations.

You will:

  1. Work on a variety of projects to the highest level of care.
  2. Set up sites to comply with Street Works Legislation.
  3. Participate in excavation projects.
  4. Undertake cable and pipe laying responsibilities, along with other ad hoc requests.

Minimum requirements include:

  • A 360 Excavator ticket and NRSWA Street Works ticket.
  • A full driving licence.
  • A hands-on approach and adaptability to all tasks.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility, including standby duties, responding to faults overnight and at weekends as part of a rota.
