Salary:

Job Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Utility Groundworker to join our Reinstatement team in Melksham (Wiltshire). This is a hands-on role responsible for the groundworks/reinstatement of SSE excavations.

Responsibilities

• Reinstating excavations in highways and private sites, ensuring good team communication and adherence to safe working practices.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions, meeting strict timescales, complying with regulations, and delivering excellent customer service for reactive maintenance.
• Assisting with other ad hoc projects as directed by your manager.
• Performing physically demanding reinstatement works on highways and private land.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with groundworks and reinstatement techniques, including Tarmac, modular services, slabs, and concrete.
• An HGV licence and experience with driving a hotbox or grab/HIAB lorry is desirable.
• Experience working on public highways, including setting up and taking down temporary traffic signals, and operating hotbox, concrete, and grab lorries.
