Utility Business Development Manager (Telecoms, Electricity, Gas, Water) - Field Based

Do you have the skills to create your own portfolio of customers in the B2B Sales arena? If you are someone who has Field Sales experience from the Energy and Telecoms industry, has a strong sales background in both generating your own leads and closing new business, as well as a proven track record of client relationship management - apply today to start earning!

The Role of the Utility Business Development Manager (Telecoms, Electricity, Gas, Water) involves:

· Engaging new customers either from your existing contacts or generating leads from cold calling and field visits.
· Ability to create and manage your own pipeline.
· Producing regular sales opportunities by collecting customers' requirements, bill copies and LOAs where appropriate.
· Using a consultative sales approach to know your customers and understand their needs.
· Liaise with your account managers in the office to obtain quotes, request additional resource for larger orders (our product specialists can attend meetings with you), and lock in contracts.
· Handling of client’s sales queries.

The Utility Business Development Manager (Telecoms, Electricity, Gas, Water) position will suit person with skills:

· Previous experience working within the telecoms sector, and ideally the energy sector.
· A strong sales background with experience of generating new business via cold calling and office visits.
· Client relationship management experience.
· Strong IT skills - in particular Excel and Outlook.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Good administration skills with the ability to work to high standards of accuracy.

Salary:

· Earnings are completely down to you and at 15 SME customers signed per month average OTE earnings are in excess £35,000 per annum - this will be recurring so if you continue at the same rate you will be earning double by the second year, or you have the opportunity to simply retain the existing client base through renewals. The same level of earnings could even be achieved with less customers of larger Corporate size. This role is fully commission based. You will earn 50% of all margin for customers you bring on for the lifetime of that customer, creating a significant recurring income for you. You will also receive a set fee for bringing in customer bill copies to quote providing you meet the minimum threshold of 10 bills per month.
