Job Description:

Overview: As a Utility Surveyor, you will utilize your technical expertise to deliver high-quality service with safety as a priority. Your main responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and quantifying work needed to maintain safety clearances from overhead electrical networks, within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
  • Conduct site-specific risk assessments and develop emergency procedures.
  • Prepare work packs aligned with contract specifications for operational teams.
  • Engage with landowners and stakeholders to obtain necessary consents.
  • Identify and understand safety zones and associated risks.
  • Ensure safety for yourself and others on site.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Coordinate with the wider team to track and complete work according to client requirements.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years arboriculture experience.
  • Certificates: UA1, UA2.1, UA5.
  • Additional competencies are advantageous.
