Job Description:

Description
As a Utility Surveyor, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will be to identify, evaluate, and quantify work required to maintain contract specification safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.
This role is within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division, operating across the Midlands and the South East, from our Ledbury and Hermitage offices, working on numerous strategic, long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities
• Understand relevant industry legislation and safety guidelines for arboricultural work.
• Conduct site-specific risk assessments and develop emergency procedures.
• Collate work packs in line with contract specifications for operational arborists.
• Liaise with landowners and stakeholders for work permissions.
• Identify and understand safety zones and their dangers.
• Ensure safety on site for yourself and others.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with the wider team to track and complete work according to client requirements.
• Work autonomously, maintaining professionalism and service quality.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years arboriculture experience.
  • Hold UA1, UA2.1, and UA5 qualifications.
  • Additional competencies are advantageous.
