Job Description:

Overview: As a Utility Surveyor, you will use your technical expertise to deliver excellent service, prioritizing safety. Your role involves identifying, evaluating, and quantifying work needed to maintain safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.

This position is within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division, known for safe and efficient service delivery across the Midlands and South East, operating from Ledbury and Hermitage offices, managing various strategic, long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
  • Conduct site-specific risk assessments with emergency procedures.
  • Compile work packs aligned with contract specifications for operational teams.
  • Liaise with landowners and stakeholders to obtain work permissions.
  • Identify and understand safety zones and associated risks.
  • Ensure safety of yourself and others on site.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to track and complete work as per client requirements.
  • Work autonomously with professionalism, delivering first-class service.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of arboriculture experience.
  • Hold UA1, UA2.1, and UA5 certifications.
  • Additional competencies are advantageous.
