Description
As a Utility Surveyor, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will be to identify, evaluate, and quantify work required to maintain contract safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.
This role is within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division, known for safe and efficient delivery of services across the Midlands and South East, from our Ledbury and Hermitage offices, working on strategic, long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand relevant industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
  • Recognize the importance of site-specific risk assessments and emergency procedures.
  • Prepare work packs in line with contract specifications for operational arborists.
  • Liaise with private landowners and stakeholders to gain consent for works.
  • Identify and understand safety zones and their dangers.
  • Ensure safety on site for yourself and others.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to track and complete work according to client requirements.
  • Work autonomously, delivering professional, first-class service.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years arboriculture experience.
  • Hold UA1, UA2.1, and UA5 certifications.
  • Additional competencies are a plus.
