About The Role:

Days of Working: Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern: 8:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and approve work in your geographical area, ensuring it is planned and completed according to your LCM’s programme.
2. Ensure staff or subcontractors are equipped and motivated to deliver operations to high standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency. Contact your LCM if they are not.
3. Support and promote proactive work practices and demonstrate strong leadership when needed.
4. Retain responsibility for your work until completion, liaising closely with your LCM regarding forecasted work volumes, costs, and challenges to meet planned output.
5. Ensure work specifications and method statements are fully completed and that the team is trained and compliant for the tasks.
6. During work planning, ensure operational procedures, safe working methods, and environmental practices are followed according to customer requirements and company policies.
7. Make sure all necessary documentation for work is available to the team, completing relevant sections before site work begins if needed.
8. Provide regular progress updates to your LCM.
9. Ensure all work complies with current legislation and reinforce the importance of safety and standards.

Key Hiring Criteria:

• Good basic education
• Computer literacy and administrative skills (using app-based data collection, form filling, email communication)
• Experienced UA5 qualified or equivalent training (including Lantra Transmission Surveyor)
• Relevant industry qualifications (preferred)
• Professional Tree Inspector (PTI) certification (mandatory if not already held)
• Proven track record in Utility Arboriculture
• Proficient in Excel and finance systems
• Diligent, numerate, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
