Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd is seeking a Utilities Surveyor to conduct comprehensive utility surveys, identify and map underground utilities, and produce detailed maps using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and GPS systems. You will collaborate across teams to meet project objectives and maintain safety standards.

The role requires proficiency with surveying tools, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel to project sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Utility Mapping and Surveying or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor or similar role.
• Proficiency with GPR, locators, total stations and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive utility surveys using advanced surveying techniques and equipment.
• Identify, locate, and map underground utilities to relevant standards.
• Utilise GPR, locators and surveying tools to create detailed utility maps.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers and clients to ensure survey objectives are met.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines on site and travel UK-wide as required.
• Provide technical support to junior staff when needed.
