Utilities Project Manager
Location: Milton Keynes (Must be in the office min of 2 days p/wk
Duration: Initial 9 months contract
Role Summary:
Co-ordination of multiple Utilities engagements, diversionary works designs, their construction phasing at Tempsford.
Team dimensions: Reporting to Utilities Programme Manager
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Utilities engagement (notably NGET, Anglian Water, UKPN, Openreach, Cadent Gas) for the Tempsford area of the EWR Core route (CS3)
Engage and co-ordinate with the EWR Design teams
Engage and co-ordinate with the EWR Area Project Managers
Establish the key Utilities diversionary works designs
Interface with critical 3rd party stakeholders (notably National Highways and Network Rail).
Establish the sequencing programme of how these will be co-ordinated and phased.
Working with the planner resource, establish and present the high level logistical planning for the Utilities works, that integrates with the anticipated enabling and main civils works.
Establish and own the critical path for this Utility programme of work.
Work within and support the wider EWR Utilities Team
Report and escalate matters where necessary
Managing any contractual (early) Utilities service provisions (feasibility studies, design delivery, planning, etc).
Experienceand skills:
You will be a motivated self-starter with the ability form strong interpersonal relationships, excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Sound working knowledge of the Utilities sectors
Design and programme co-ordination skills.
Education and qualifications:
Must have: (essential skills)
CDM 2015 training.
Project management training
