A leading infrastructure company based in Leeds is seeking a Planner to optimise project schedules and resource allocation. You will manage detailed schedules, track progress, and report insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in project planning within construction or utilities and is proficient in planning software and MS Excel.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in project planning & scheduling within utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in planning software & streetworks legislation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage detailed schedules, define project milestones, and ensure effective resource use.
  • Track project progress, analyse performance data, and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Provide insights via reports (Gantt charts, S-curves, histograms) and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Identify scheduling risks, conduct scenario analyses, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Implement best practices and provide training on planning tools.

Experience:2+ years in project planning & scheduling within utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in planning software & streetworks legislation, advanced MS Excel, and data analysis tools.
Analytical & Organisational Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Communication & Collaboration: Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for teams and stakeholders.
Certifications: AACEi PSP (or similar) is a plus!
