Utilities Maintenance Technician (shifts)
Location: Slough

You'll operate equipment such as Steam Boilers, Packaged Chillers, Clean Steam Generators, and more. Key responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient performance and uptime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Electrical Expertise: Handle electrical components, systems, and controls effectively and safely.
  • Mechanical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other relevant technologies.
  • Calibration and Testing: Conduct calibration and testing of equipment to maintain accuracy and precision.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and participate in related projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical training and support to team members.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
Minimum requirements:
  • Apprenticeship and background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.

We have shifts from 7 am - 7 pm and from 10 am – 10 pm. No visa sponsorship is available. Living within 1 hour travel distance from Slough is required.
