Job Description

I am recruiting Utilities Economics Manager and Assistant Manager (cost assessment) for a global consultancy (UK wide). What will you be doing?

  • Working on projects in the water and energy network sectors, focusing on cost assessment.
  • Providing expert advice on cost benchmarking.
  • Developing econometric models comparing costs across companies.
  • Conducting Cost Benefit analyses.
  • Main tasks include report drafting, economic analysis, and econometric analysis.
The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidates:

  • Have experience in the UK utilities sector.
  • Possess knowledge of regulatory frameworks, microeconomics, or finance, or a strong understanding of microeconomic principles.
  • Are experienced in quantitative economic analysis, statistics, econometrics, preferably with STATA.
  • For Manager role: expertise in cost assessment/benchmarking economics.
  • For Assistant Manager role: strong quantitative skills and interest in utilities.
