UTC Sheffield OLP Teacher of Science (Biology)

Our second UTC in Sheffield, located at the exciting new Olympic Legacy Park, opened in September 2016 and offers opportunities for students in Health Science, Computing, and Sports Science. All three UTCs in the Trust are judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Role Overview

You will work alongside Principal Jessica Stevenson, the Curriculum Director, and UTC staff to develop a centre of excellence focusing on Health Science, Sports Science, and Computing. Under the direction of the Curriculum Director, you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications, including GCSEs and Level 3 technical vocational qualifications in Applied Science. Specific qualifications are detailed in the curriculum information sheet available on the UTC website.

Key Requirements

• Ability to teach Biology at GCSE and A Level is essential.
• Opportunities to teach science aspects within the Health specialisms may be available for the right candidate.
• Part-time working options may be considered.
