Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join the Urgent Treatment Centres as our Rota Co-ordinator. You will be required to co-ordinate and populate the medical and nursing staffing rotas on a daily basis for the Urgent Treatment Centres and the on call rota. You will also be required to work closely with our cross site team of Rota Co-ordinators to support each other’s workload.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate and populate the medical and nursing staffing rotas on a daily basis for the Urgent Treatment Centres and the on call rota.
  • Work closely with our cross site team of Rota Co-ordinators to support each other’s workload.
  • Provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Service Managers managing the Urgent Treatment Centres rotas across all 3 sites.
  • Ensure service objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate all medical and nursing staff rotas to ensure the service is resourced to the required levels each day.
  • Maximise the skills and resources within this staff group including training and development.
  • Proactively problem solve and work well under pressure, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effectively able to escalate issues and maintain high standards at all times.
  • Work as part of a team, however should be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
  • Support the timely delivery of rotas and ensure effective measures have been taken to support adequate staffing.
  • Responsible for accurately recording planned and unplanned absences, such as leave or sickness.
