Software (GUI) Developer – London, Hybrid – Up-to £65,000 DOE Per Annum + Bonus and Car Allowance
We are on the hunt for an experienced Software Developer with a wealth of experience developing GUI (Graphical User Interfaces) for bespoke industrial hardware applications. This position will see you work within a small development team supporting a variety of in production power transmission equipment products as well as working with the R&D team to prepare for future projects.
Key Role Requirements:
Experience developing with C for integrations with hardware
Ability to analyse and understand business technical requirements, estimate development timescales, and work with a wider team to develop and plan software architecture
Track record of developing bespoke high reliability GUI’s and integrating with unique industrial systems
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Develop robust software solutions that meet functional and system constraints
Conduct prototyping on target hardware to address technical uncertainties
Perform unit and pre-integration testing, ensuring compliance and performance
Work closely with hardware engineers, developers, and validation teams to ensure system compatibility
Create comprehensive documentation to explain technical solutions and decisions
Maintain rigorous version control of software and suggest improvements to internal tools
