The Team and Opportunity

Webjet strives to be at the leading edge of technology, developing solutions to meet the travel needs of our customers. We have evolved our architecture into cloud-native microservices hosted on Azure. Our product-focused delivery teams are self-contained and have end-to-end ownership of their product. “You build it, you ship it and you own it” is core to the Webjet way.

In this role you'll be:

1. Collaborating with UX & Product teams to deliver high quality web products
2. Responsible for creation of reusable UI components, templates & deliverables
3. Writing clean, maintainable code & following best practices & software development guidelines
4. Writing technical documentation & guidelines to maintain UI products
5. Helping to drive the engineering rhythm and process of delivering high quality UI

What we love to see:

1. Advanced level proficiency in ReactJS, Typescript, Redux & Webpack
2. Solid understanding of UX / UI principles, focusing on user & developer experience
3. Experience using GIT for version control
4. Knowledge of Docker, GitHub Action, CI & CD is desirable.
