Job description

Role Title: Creative Technologist / User Experience Engineer

Location: London, UK (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Responsibilities:

1. UX project planning and execution
2. Participate in or lead project meetings with stakeholders to provide technical input and inform project decisions on user experience development
3. User experience engineering: implement, develop, and update the user interface by developing and writing code
4. Design implementation: support or influence the user experience by developing concepts, providing technical input, and engaging stakeholders
5. Creating artifacts for consensus building: develop design documents and specifications
6. UX problem analysis: identify and analyze potential risks and obstacles related to user experience and technical issues
7. Configure, implement, and update computational design features through coding
8. Act as the technical liaison between engineers and designers
9. Contribute to or manage projects by integrating UI components and developing new component systems
10. Evaluate new technology feasibility and provide feedback to stakeholders
11. Develop solutions to improve team efficiency in design, execution, and communication

Skills:

• Proficiency in designing, writing, testing, and maintaining software applications using relevant programming languages
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, generate solutions, and identify system gaps
• Knowledge of industry trends, product areas, and market developments
• Understanding of design principles, tools, standards, and accessibility guidelines such as WCAG
