Qualifications

Job description

  • 6 month contract
  • Remote Working
  • £425 per day Inside IR35

UX Designer

Our client is looking for a UX Designer to join them to work on some large scale projects as they transform the organisation. You will be involved in delivering customer-first solutions through discovery, prototyping and testing .

Skills and Experience

  • UX design experience, covering the full process from research to high-fidelity prototyping.
  • Strong skills in understanding customer and data insights to inform your designs.
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools like Figma and Miro
  • Experience of responsive design across mobile, tablet and desktop
  • Experience with planning and facilitating user research
  • Familiarity with design systems to maintain consistency across products
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with Product Owners, stakeholders, and developers
  • Able to focus across multiple tasks in a diverse environment
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • A strong understanding of Accessibility guidelines and how they impact designs
  • Experience working with GIS systems

Day to Day

  • Working across a multitude of large scale projects
  • Planning and conducting user research and testing to create user-centred designs.
  • Collaborating with the UX Team to ensure the Design System is kept up to date and with reliable and consistent components.
  • Keeping stakeholders informed by sharing work regularly and clearly throughout the design process.
  • Using research and data to design, guide, and refine solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Facilitating workshops to collaboratively solve challenges and create solutions.
