User Designer – Government

Initially 3 Months remote contract £450-£480pd (Outside IR35)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced User Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing design solutions that prioritise user experience, ensuring that our digital services meet the needs of diverse users. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your skills in user research, design, and testing to drive improvements in our digital offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a User Designer or in a similar role, with a focus on user-centred design methodologies.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your previous user-centred design work, highlighting your thought process and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong collaboration abilities.
• A solid understanding of accessibility standards and best practises in design to ensure inclusivity in all digital services.
