Cardiff Met. Company Ltd. is seeking a User Centred Design (UCD) Intern to enhance our UCD capacity in product design. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on live client projects and collaborate with our in-house design consultancy team.
The successful candidate will assist in research activities and create digital prototypes, using tools such as Figma. You should have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field and be motivated to expand your skills within a user-focused environment. - Strong interest in user-centred design and understanding of human behaviour.
- Organised and effective communicator comfortable taking initiative.
- Curiosity to learn and develop skills in research and design thinking.
Responsibilities
- Support UCD and design teams to deliver successful outputs.
- Help plan and support research activities including usability testing.
- Create and iterate digital prototypes for product testing.
