Job summary

Cambridge Consultants invites design students to join as an internship, October/November 2026, for 6–10 months. You will contribute to product and service development across Healthcare, Industrial, Consumer, and other sectors.

You will engage in front-end concept generation, graphics and packaging design, digital UI/UX work, and foam prototyping, while learning from a collaborative team. A portfolio is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record in Industrial/Product Design or a related field.
• Proficiency with Creative Cloud and 3D rendering tools.
• Experience using CAD to create manufacturable designs.
• Strong user-centred design understanding.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• UI/UX design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and present user research to multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead concept generation and problem-solving workshops.
• Design graphics and visual communications for clarity and engagement.
• Prepare designs from sketches to detailed 3D renders.
• Prototype manufacturing of concepts, coordinating with suppliers.
• Evaluate ideas with users and stakeholders and iterate.
