Job Description:

HTC is a privately owned group which began in 1970 under the Vales Group of companies in Watford, Herts. They were one of the first dealers to take on a DAF franchise in the UK. The company was acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in 2007, a privately owned group whose main activities are in road transport, trailer manufacturing, vehicle and construction equipment sales and supportive services to the road transport industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proactively source and sell used DAF trucks to new and existing customers.
2. Develop strong relationships with existing and conquest customers.
3. Manage the full sales process, including negotiation, finance options, part-exchange valuations, and deal closure.
4. Maintain knowledge of the used truck market, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
5. Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
6. Work closely with the aftersales, finance, and procurement teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
7. Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
8. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular sales forecasting.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience in used truck sales or commercial vehicle sales is essential.
2. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
3. Ability to build rapport and maintain long term customer relationships.
4. Target driven and motivated by achieving sales and commission-based rewards.
5. A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong business development skills.
6. Full UK driving licence required.
