Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Used Car Sales Executive for our Farnborough Ford site. You’ll guide customers from welcome through negotiation to handover of their vehicle, delivering trusted experiences and building relationships.

You’ll actively hunt for new customers by phone, attend launches and events, and keep an up‑to‑date knowledge of Ford products. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service with targets and relationship building.
• Ability to deliver first-class customer service with energy and enthusiasm.
• Genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills focused on understanding customer needs.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through a seamless journey, from welcome to handover of their purchased vehicle.
• Actively prospect for new customers via telephone, attend product launches and events, and maintain a comprehensive enquiry database.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and continuously enhance expertise through manufacturer-led training sessions.
• Recommend suitable add-on products that align with customer needs and preferences.
• Ensure the effective use of customer enquiry management systems for optimal tracking and follow-up.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that fosters loyalty and encourages referrals.
