Job description

Are seeking an experienced Car Sales Manager to join Marshall Motor Group and lead our sales team at our Audi store in Oxford. This role will see you use your sales management experience to lead the team in delivering good outcomes for our customers. Reporting to the Head of Business, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading automotive group whilst representing an amazing brand. You will oversee a team of Sales Executives and a Transaction Manager, managing both New and Used Vehicle Sales. We are looking for someone to drive the team and business forward. Previous experience in budgeting and forecasts is essential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing the Sales Executives and Transaction Manager.
  2. Motivating the team to deliver good outcomes for customers and achieve weekly sales targets on vehicles, finance, and insurance products.
  3. Liaising with customers face-to-face and via phone/email, and handling customer complaints efficiently.
  4. Promoting vehicles and services offered in the dealership and online.
  5. Ensuring excellent customer service that results in high customer satisfaction scores.
  6. Preparing finance proposals that are in the best interests of customers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a sales manager within the automotive industry, preferably in a main dealership.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve quality and quantity goals.
  • A calm and professional demeanor.
