As part of the People team, the Manager, People will be responsible for managing various aspects of the Human Resources function for the assigned location(s) and business units across the organization. The Manager, People will partner with multiple business unit leaders across our hardware and software divisions to provide strategic partnership, execute initiatives related to overall people and business strategies, serve as a resource to employees on change management, professional development, compliance, and employee relations. You will interact frequently with employees and monitor morale. Additionally, the Manager, People will work closely with the talent acquisition team and recruiters on employer branding and candidate experience.

The Manager, People will report to the Senior Manager, People and must be onsite at our Dallas location 5 days a week.

What you'll do
  1. Manage administrative duties by researching and answering associate questions regarding HR issues.
  2. Track attendance, maintain personnel files.
  3. Coordinate reports related to HR functions and manage distribution of reference materials.
  4. Ensure consistent execution of HR practices, audit practices, analyze reports.
  5. Create action plans to resolve noncompliance, conduct investigations.
  6. Develop and deliver HR training programs, provide HR advice to managers.
  7. Manage HR and business data analysis by collaborating with internal partners, analyzing data, identifying risks, and interpreting reports.
  8. Make data-driven recommendations, administer SharePoint and other tools.
  9. Create and maintain reports, ensure information security and confidentiality.
  10. Manage business operations, establish and monitor project timelines and resources.
  11. Track projects, report status, conduct audits, develop scorecards, and identify improvements.
  12. Address associate concerns, mentor staff, serve as technical coordinator.
  13. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; stay current on legal updates.
  14. Implement and monitor HR compliance, develop action plans for improvement.
  15. Coordinate and support activities to meet business needs, build relationships with stakeholders.
  16. Identify goals, measure progress, promote continuous improvement and learning.
  17. Provide supervision, development, training, and recognition for staff, promote diversity.
  18. Ensure compliance with company policies, support ethical standards, and foster a culture of respect and integrity.
