Broking Team Leader – US Casualty

Are you an accomplished Senior Broking professional with the skills and experience to lead and develop a team of highly respected and professional London Market brokers? Can you bring an in-depth knowledge of the US Casualty sector, its carriers and sophisticated broking requirements? If so, we'd love to hear from you in connection with this brand new hybrid role that offers a combination of home and office working.

What the day will look like

As a Team Leader your wide and varied role will include being responsible for:

  • Operationally leading and managing the team
  • P&L accountability for the US Casualty book
  • Developing client and network relationships
  • Ensuring a high level of client retention
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Developing new products and encouraging innovation
  • Coordinating marketing strategy and broking major accounts and lead lines
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Proven experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Global Broker or Insurer, with established market relationships
  • Technical insurance knowledge across US and/or International Casualty markets
  • Detailed understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Proven capability in effectively leading & developing high performance teams
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
