Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Associate foundation degree is required.
• GCSE maths and English at grade A-C or equivalent required.
• Current NMC registration is required.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams is preferable.
• Understanding of the NMC Code and revalidation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology specialist care to outpatients and treatment-centre patients.
• Carry out all nursing tasks with minimal direct supervision.
• Demonstrate procedures and supervise staff nurses and support workers.
• Support and supervise junior colleagues as a key part of the role.
• Deliver high standard direct nursing care and develop skills over time.
• Liaise with patients and carers to ensure high-quality care.
