NHS Lothian invites applications for a Clinical Fellow in Urology with a subspecialist interest in Functional Urology and Reconstructive Surgery, based at Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.

The post involves service cover for peripheral units, opportunities to contribute to a four-consultant-led reconstructive urology team, and involvement in theatre lists, clinics and urodynamics. Fixed-term, full-time (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Specialist reconstructive clinic to develop clinical skills in reconstructive urology.
• Specialist diagnostics – Video Urodynamics, Urethral pressure profilometry.
• Reconstructive urological surgery – mentoring in urethroplasty and continence procedures.
• Regional SNS service and joint clinics with urogynaecology and endometriosis services.
• MDT meetings and complex paediatric-to-adult transition planning.
• Neuro-urology clinic participation and on-call commitments.
