Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 nurse for a fixed-term maternity cover in urogynaecology at North Tyneside General Hospital. Provide specialist assessment, treatment and support to women with pelvic floor disorders within a multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will work across outpatient and multidisciplinary settings, delivering autonomous and collaborative care with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• 1st Level live NMC registration required.
• Registered Mentor status.
• PP126/127 or equivalent.
• D32/33.
• Basic Counselling course standard.

Job summary

Provide specialist assessment, treatment, advice and ongoing support to women with urogynaecological conditions within a multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of the Urogynaecology Service, providing specialist nursing care and support to women with a range of pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and bladder dysfunction. The role will involve autonomous and collaborative working across outpatient and multidisciplinary settings to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

This fixed-term maternity cover post offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse with an interest in women's health to develop specialist skills within a supportive and innovative service.
