Job overview

We are recruiting for an Uro-Oncology Specialist Support Nurse who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients

Main duties of the job

To support the CNS in developing and managing the relevant cancer nursing service, providing specialist advice and support patients, their families and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

To work as part of the current oncology and palliative care services within the Trust.

To ensure a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating personalised care, towards meeting the varying needs of patients and their carers throughout their treatments and disease process.

Assist in education and training of other health care professionals.

To be responsible for the management of a caseload within a defined client group.

To assist in undertaking research and clinical audit.
