URGENT – Interim Associate Director of Policy & Campaigns – 9 months contract
Location: Hybrid, London
This is a full-time role

The organisation:

A disability campaign organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and inclusion of disabled individuals.

The role:

  1. Lead the campaigns and policy strategy, implementing a range of political activities, sometimes in coalitions, to influence government policy and parliamentarians' views.
  2. Manage a team of 4 Managers and Senior Managers across campaigning, communications, and marketing to achieve public policy change and enhance the organization's profile.
  3. Provide expert advice to the leadership team, Board, and Executive Leadership Team on relevant strategic developments in the political sphere.

The candidate:

  1. Proven success in campaigns and public affairs, with expert knowledge of Westminster, Whitehall, and Local Government.
  2. Experience in developing and effectively implementing strategies to reach policy and organizational goals.
  3. Substantial staff leadership and line management experience.
