Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust NHS is recruiting an Advanced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Intermediate Care team in Northampton. The role is Band 7, 30 hours per week, part-time with flexible working and countywide Urgent Community Response coverage from Kettering.

You will work with nurses, doctors and support workers to support discharge and home-based rehabilitation, with HCPC registration and relevant experience in older adult rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and suitable degree in occupational therapy.
• Experience delivering rehabilitation in community settings.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and supervise staff.
• Flexible and capable of 7-day service coverage.

Responsabilités

• Support staff development and act as clinical resource for the team.
• Develop goals and support plans with nurses, doctors and carers.
• Contribute to timely discharges and home-based rehabilitation.
• Adapt to flexible hours and weekend cover as needed.
