Urgent Care Registered Nurse
Opportunity available for a Registered Nurse to work within an Urgent Care Centre, Across the West Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team, working autonomously within the scope of practice. The Nurse Prescriber will be responsible for clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, well man clinics, and supporting the management team in reviewing clinical policy and procedures.
- Develop, implement and embed health promotion and wellbeing programmes and develop, implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for acute and non-acute conditions. Support the clinical team in the development of individual treatment plans for chronic disease patients and identify, manage and support patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects on health.
- Provide routine nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical evidence, NICE and the NSF. You will be able to prescribe medication in accordance with PGD and within your own scope of practice and review medication for effectiveness, need and alignment with national guidance.

Full Time - Days / Nights / Weekends
