A healthcare provider in York is looking for an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join the Selby Urgent Treatment Centre team. This position involves diagnosing and treating patients with various conditions, mentoring staff, and participating in ongoing education. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Selby Urgent Treatment Centre team based at Selby Hospital, within York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role is open to a suitably qualified ENP at Band 7.
The Band 7 candidate must have a recognised qualification, training and experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or similar if AHP. Trainee ENPs must already be undertaking or completing a recognised Minor Injuries and Illness Course (that includes X Ray interpretation), and be prepared to undertake further training in post. Applicants are welcome to apply from those professional groups eligible to undertake non-medical prescribing under current statutory regulations. The successful candidate should possess a strong desire to develop themselves to deliver outstanding care, helping to develop the advanced practice strategy within the Trust.
