Job description

We are seeking positive, proactive, and enthusiastic staff to join our existing teams in the ongoing development and expansion of our urgent care services across Harrogate ED and Ripon UTC.

Working as a UCP, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical care in managing patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses. Acting within your professional boundaries, you will lead and support the delivery of minor stream services across both Harrogate and Ripon sites. You will collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team and partner organizations to ensure seamless, timely care and the best possible patient experience.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing unscheduled care in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
  2. Initial assessment and onward referral of acutely unwell patients.
  3. Contributing to meeting Key Performance Indicators within specified time frames.
