Job description

Are you looking for a new challenge and want to offer the best care in times of Crisis?

Do you want to help shape the future of the CRHTT?

We're seeking like-minded professionals to join us in providing top-quality care to those in need. We have new opportunities for Band 6 Mental Health Nurses (RMN), Occupational Therapists (OT), or Social Workers to join the Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) at Langley Green Hospital, Crawley.

The CRHTT team is part of acute care, working closely with hospital and community teams to support clients during mental health crises. It offers care and support in clients' homes and runs a day service group program at Langley Green Hospital as an alternative to hospital admission.

CRHTT provides the benefits of hospital admission while allowing clients to remain at home, including home visits from experienced team members, with support from doctors and psychologists. We also facilitate supportive discharge from hospital, managing the transition back to community services.

This role includes a £2,000 Golden Hello or Relocation Incentive for Band 5-6 Nurses & Practitioners (pro rata and subject to terms and conditions; see attached Protocol Document for details).

As an Urgent Care Practitioner, you will collaborate with service users with complex health presentations, developing care and recovery plans to enable fulfilling lives. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and delivering high-quality care, working with service users, carers, families, and external agencies such as voluntary organizations, schools, and colleges.

You will provide specialist nursing advice, perform nursing procedures, and monitor treatment effectiveness. You may also supervise staff and students, act as shift coordinator, and liaise with other services to triage referrals and gatekeep inpatient admissions.

This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership development and career progression. We also support additional bank work and experience within our other services, fostering your career growth.

Our commitment to staff development includes open discussions about career goals and ongoing support.
