Job summary

NHS Highland is recruiting enthusiastic General Practitioners to join the new GP Walk-In Centre service in Inverness. This salaried role offers a fixed term contract until 1 April 2027 and a 12 noon to 8pm shift, across a seven-day service.

Qualifications

• GPs in NHS Highland Walk-In Centre are expected to provide urgent same-day care.
• Experience or willingness to work across a multidisciplinary environment is valued.
• Ability to manage a wide range of acute presentations in a GP setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with urgent same-day conditions.
• Provide timely access to care and ensure appropriate use of resources.
