Job summary

Inspire Medical in West London is opening a brand-new clinic and recruiting a full-time and a part-time Urgent Care Physician. You will assess and treat patients aged 12 months and over with minor illnesses and injuries, working with nursing, radiology and admin colleagues.

Qualifications

• GMC registration required.
• Previous clinical experience within the NHS or HSE.
• Experience or interest in urgent care, emergency medicine or general practice.
• Confidence assessing minor injuries and interpreting X-rays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Paediatric experience is advantageous.

Inspire Medical are recruiting a full-time and a part-time Urgent Care Physician for a brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic opening in West London in December.

You will assess and treat patients aged 12 months and over presenting with minor illnesses and injuries, working alongside nursing, radiology and administrative colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage minor illnesses and injuries.
• Interpret X-rays and manage musculoskeletal injuries and fractures.
• Provide initial care for minor orthopaedic injuries and perform procedures such as suturing.
• Maintain clear clinical records and deliver patient-focused care.

Essential Requirements

• GMC registration.
• Previous clinical experience within the NHS or HSE.
• Experience or a strong interest in urgent care, emergency medicine or general practice.
• Confidence assessing minor injuries and interpreting X-rays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Paediatric experience is advantageous.

Salary and Working Hours

• Full-time: £92,000 per annum (£82,000 basic salary plus £10,000 London weighting), working an average of 38 hours per week.
• Part-time: £57,187 per annum, working 26.5 hours per week.
• Shifts rostered within clinic opening hours of 10am–10pm, with no night shifts.
