The Royal College of General Practitioners is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team in the UK. You will deliver urgent care assessments, diagnoses, treatments and follow-ups within a multidisciplinary general practice setting, providing high-quality patient care and improving access and experience.

The role requires current NMC registration, strong clinical assessment and autonomous decision-making, with opportunities for CPD and career development

Qualifications

• Experience in urgent care settings.
• Current NMC registration.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, including history taking, examination, diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide safe, effective and evidence-based clinical care to patients presenting with acute and minor illness.
• Demonstrate autonomous clinical decision-making and appropriate escalation when required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice and multidisciplinary team.
• Support the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to maintaining clinical standards.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to colleagues where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and maintain professional standards.
