An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated administrative support professional to join their Cancer Services team. This role involves crucial tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient communications, and ensuring a seamless referral process. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Cancer Services team to provide administrative support within the Urgent Suspected Cancer referrals office based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The successful applicant will be patient-focused; have excellent communication and organisational skills; be familiar with all of the Trust's computer systems including Somerset and have excellent IT skills including Excel. Previous experience of administrative and telecommunications work is essential to the role as well as a resilience to deal with the fast pace of the role and the emotional and sometimes distressing nature of cancer.
