GMCA is seeking a Business Partner to provide emergency planning, response, and resilience services to the ten councils of Greater Manchester. The role operates within the Greater Manchester Resilience Unit and involves liaising with multi-agency partners to strengthen urban resilience.

You will build relationships with councils/GMCA, ensure resilience needs inform the Unit’s business plan, and promote best practices across authorities while working in a hybrid arrangement across Manchester

Formación

• Experience with civil contingencies and emergency planning.
• Ability to work in a multi-agency environment.
• Must pass police clearance and have a driving license.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of Greater Manchester Councils and lead resilience projects across GM.
• Coordinate multi-agency response and be part of the 24/7 on-call rota.
• Develop business cases, ensure timely delivery within budget, and evaluate impact.
