Base pay range

This is an exciting opportunity for an Urban Designer to join a growing and dynamic team of architects and urban designers focused on delivering visionary projects in emerging markets across the EMEA region.

Founded five years ago, the practice has already completed over 30 projects, specialising in urban design, regeneration, masterplanning, and large-scale building developments. The team’s core strength lies in concept design, visioning, and early design stages—they do not deliver construction-phase services, making this a truly design-led studio.

We’re looking for a creative, collaborative, and proactive designer who thrives in agile environments and has a strong interest in working within developing economies. This role suits individuals who are keen to step away from large, hierarchical structures and instead contribute to shaping and growing a young, ambitious practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of small design teams (typically 2–5 people)
• Lead and oversee project design with an emphasis on creativity and design quality
• Support directors in developing client presentations and contributing to project pitches
• Design focused working across a range of typologies and sectors
• Influence the direction and processes of a young studio
• Take on real responsibility and ownership in a collaborative environment

Required Experience & Skills

• Qualified Architect or Urban Designer - 2+ years work experience
• Experience working on international or UK urban design/masterplanning projects
• Previous exposure to emerging markets and/or small design teams preferred
• Able to work across multiple projects at different stages
• Comfortable supporting senior leaders and mentoring junior staff

• Office-based: 5 days per week (Monday–Friday, 9:30 am–6:00 pm)
• Location: Central London
• Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK
• Salary: Commensurate with experience
