UPS Engineer – UK & Europe

Location:Field-Based (Covering UK & Europe)
Salary:£42,000 - £52,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Job Type:Permanent
Hours:Monday – Friday

About the Role

A leading power solutions provider is seeking an experiencedUPS Engineerto join their team. This field-based role will cover a large area across theUK, with regular travel acrossEuropefor installations, servicing, and maintenance ofUninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systemsand associated power equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance ofUPS systemsand related power equipment.
  • Fault-finding, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs on-site.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to emergency callouts as required.
  • Providing technical support and ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Willingness to travel across theUK and Europeas required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a UPS Engineer / Power Systems Engineer / Electrical Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of single-phase & three-phase UPS systems.
  • Ability to carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and repair work.
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport for travel across Europe.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work away from home and travel frequently.
