Job summary

Cardiff Steiner School are seeking an inspiring and creative Art Teacher to join the collaborative team in a vibrant, arts-rich educational environment.

This part-time role will lead and coordinate the Fine Arts programme across our Upper School (ages 14–19), guiding students through painting, drawing, printmaking, collage and montage. You’ll work with the Steiner Waldorf curriculum and NZCSE qualification framework, with 4 lessons per week.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching art in secondary/upper school settings.
• Ability to foster creativity and confidence in young artists.
• Willingness to work within the Steiner-Waldorf curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Fine Arts programme across the Upper School.
• Inspire students and develop practical skills in multiple media.
• Deliver 4 art lessons per week and participate in planning and development.
